Forklift training in East London
On-site forklift training in Newham, Stratford, Barking, Dagenham, Redbridge, Ilford, Havering, Romford, Bexley, Erith and Belvedere. On-site, on your own trucks, with no travel charge.
East London is where the capital's logistics lives. The A13 corridor from the Royal Docks through Beckton, Barking, Dagenham Dock and Rainham to the Thurrock border is lined with national distribution centres, parcel hubs, food manufacturers, aggregates wharves, steel and timber importers, waste-to-energy plants and the Ford estate, and south of the river Erith and Belvedere add paper mills, rebar fabricators and more distribution. ExCeL, London City Airport, the new film studios at Dagenham and the Thamesmead, Barking Riverside and Beam Park developments round it out. Reach, counterbalance, VNA, double deep, side loader and telehandler training all run here constantly, often on nights.
Local customers typically work in distribution and parcels, food manufacturing, aggregates, steel and timber, paper and packaging, waste and recycling, exhibitions and film. Whatever the sector, the format is the same: an accredited Forklift Agency instructor comes to your premises anywhere in East London, trains your operators on your own trucks, tests them, and we post HSE-recognised certificates. Courses run around your shift pattern, early mornings, nights or weekends, at the same price.

Common questions
Where does the training happen?
At your premises, on your trucks, in the environment your operators actually work in. We do not run a training centre in London or anywhere else. The instructor brings everything else: the safety videos on a laptop or tablet, theory material, cones, test papers and the certificates.
Is there a travel charge for London or the Home Counties?
No. Training anywhere inside the M25 and across the surrounding counties, from Reading to Southend and from Stevenage to Crawley, is quoted at the same rate, with no charge for travel or accommodation. Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire are covered by our Derby, Nottingham and Leicester sites, and the rest of the UK by Forklift Agency.
Do you charge more for nights or weekends?
No. Our instructors fit into your shift pattern, including early mornings, nights and weekends, at no extra cost, subject to availability. In London that often means starting before the roads fill up or training after the last delivery.
Does the instructor need parking?
One space for a car or small van, close enough to unload cones and equipment. If parking is impossible at your site, tell us when you book and we will plan around it.
