Our training packages are built around your business and the way it runs day to day. Instructors fit into any shift pattern, including early mornings, nights and weekends, at no extra cost (subject to availability). Every certificate meets the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act and the HSE's Approved Code of Practice L117, and every instructor is fully trained, certificated and accredited.
Not sure which package applies? The short version: never driven, novice; driven but never certificated, semi-experienced; certificated and due a re-test, refresher; certificated on one truck and moving to another, conversion. We will confirm when we quote.
Packages available
Novice Forklift Training
The full basic operator course for people who have never driven a lift truck. Three to five days at your London premises, finishing with the accredited test.
Semi-Experienced Forklift Training
For operators who have driven a forklift informally but never been formally trained or certificated. Typically two days.
Refresher Forklift Training
A one-day re-test and re-certification for experienced operators. The HSE recommends refresher training every three to five years and after any incident.
Conversion Forklift Training
For certificated operators moving to a different category of truck: counterbalance to reach, reach to VNA, counterbalance to telehandler and so on. One to two days.

The six elements of every course
Every package follows the same six-part structure. It is what gets your team to the standard and keeps the test fair.
1. Training videos
Instructors carry a laptop or tablet. Forklift safety videos open the course and show, bluntly, what happens when things go wrong.
2. Health and safety
Current legislation and guidance, the employer's duties and the operator's, so everyone understands why the rules exist.
3. Theory
Stability, load centres, capacity plates, pedestrians and the hazards of your own site, covered before anyone takes the controls.
4. Pre-use inspection
Every candidate learns to check a truck before the shift and to report defects. Checklist booklets are available at extra cost.
5. Practical training
Time on the truck, starting in a coned-off area and progressing to real loads in your real aisles until every manoeuvre is safe and confident.
6. Test and certification
A theory test, an observed pre-use inspection and a practical test to the accredited-body marking scheme, followed by the certificate.
